Lee Ledbetter: Architect of Big Easy Cool, New Orleans: ‘The one thing in terms of good design that will never change is proportion. When you look at design ranging from Palladio to Mies van der Rohe, the one constant is beautiful proportions. Ultimately we are all human, and there are natural reasons why certain proportions feel right to us. So, however adventuresome our materials or smart our designs become, the rules of proportion will stay the same’.
